Did you notice the bow tie Chris made out of what looks like pig fat?, a strange chap but worth a visit especially for the opera he plays as you enter and depart. Saw him on TV last year, he also does poetry readings!

Yes, we did notice that! We were lucky enough to be treated to salami and vino cotto as well as the music. Will definately go back next time we are there.

Default Sadly no

My husband spotted this website when we were trying to find out the info on the programme which was on last night but which we haven't watched yet - I suspect (if the rest of them are anything to go by) that it will be about 30 seconds.

Have now watched the programme - about 5 mins - him driving along the via solari and then visiting Peppe Cotto the butcher who played a horn made of pig skin, crowned Heston with what looked like a crown of lamb chops and then they made sausages which Heston was going to use for a Trojan Hog for his Roman Feast For those in the UK (& I know that isn't everyone) the programme is still available (for about 3 more weeks) on 4OD catchup Heston's Feasts - 4oD Catch-Up - Channel 4 - for those not in the UK you can read about it Heston's Sausage Master | Food | Channel4.com
