Default Marche Breaks?

Thanks MarcheBreaks.
I've never actually come accross the website before and many of the links on the site are ones that i have never found via Google and other search engines. I had thought i'd seen most of what Marche has to offer on web regarding properties for sale and tourism, but i'll have to look again.
STRONGLY RECOMMEND THE SITE !! - Might now even fit in some white water rafting, cycling or fishing.

Nigel, lucky you staying in Sant'Angelo. (Il Monastero by any chance?). It was the area round there that sold southern Marche to us. There are two restaurants in Sant'Angelo. The more expensive one has an outside eating area from where you have quite a good view, the other is very reasonable and was 'run' by Grandma. There is another just outside the town that has a good reputation but it was closed when we were there.
Annie.

Great website!

Unfortunately (or fortunately for us!) the cycle hire they mention is for a minimum of 90 days. We hire by the day so if you fancy some road biking or mountain biking, drop us an email or give us a call.

If you are looking for "what's on" info, go to the local newsagent when you get here and ask for a copy of "corriere proposte" as it lists ALL events for the month in Marche. They have a website but it's awful - can't find a thing unless it is in 2005

Might do yet, but for the moment i think we'll play it by ear. Thanks for the offer though. You dont know any companies in the area that would hire scooters or a Vespa do you?

I know somewhere that hires road legal quads but not scooters I'm afraid. You don't see that many of them around here - more api than scooters. Maybe it's just too hilly??

Prefer something Indie or acoustic but not too bothered. I cant find too much on the internet or the forum.
Does anybody know whats on?
My girfreind Amanda does love a good dance.
This link is for an on-line listing of mainly Indie music, you need to wait a couple of seconds and then scroll down to Marche section. Just come back from seeing Editors and REM on the final night of UmbriaJazz- what a setting, what a gig and its only an hour and a quarter from this side of the Sibillinis

Default Top Indie acts in Marche

The only big names this year were (Youve missed em) Joe Jackson, The Futureheads and Pete and the Pirates. There's been some other good Italian bands like Radio Babylon (SKA) - they play Porto san Elpidio on Saturday, and we saw meganoidi at Tolentino (were Ska now Indie)- its best to check them out on youtube first, its mostly coversbands though- The Kingstones do a good camped up Jagger and chain smoking richards impersonation and are playing Amandola on Friday, The Devotees are a Depeche Mode cover band playin Amandola on Saturday night.

Hope that this helps
