Sorry haven't replied - just come across the message - don't remember receiving notification.
Anyway, no we haven't resolved the problem but are still working on it. Are only just commissioning the pool and will probably go ahead initially with a ordinary pump. Husband is the technical one, I will get him to reply but he is away at the moment. If you manage to source anything I am sure we would welcome any information.

I came across an old posting of yours recently were you were considering powering a pool pump via solar cells. You were looking for advice at the time - did anything come of it as it seems to make sense and I am currently planning a pool?
