Property in Trento/Bolzano

Hi

New to this forum, just found it today and very interesting too !

I am British but I live here in Italy with my wife and baby daughter, I work in Milan and we live in Varese near lake Maggiore.

I am now very close to landing a new and good job in Bolzano for which I will soon have the final interview. For the last 6 months we have been looking for a Rustico around the lakes to renovate and were on the verge of making an offer when this job arrived out of the blue.

I am trying to find out (which lead me to this site) the comparative prices of property in the Bolzano/Trento area to the lake district north of Milan. It appears to me that Bolzano is very expensive, possibly the most expensive in Italy (it is the richest region) but that Trento is more in line with Lombardia. Is this assumption accurate

I guess this question is directed at the italian property proffesionals who frequent this forum but any feedback would be very much appreciated...
