Default Driving with a license less than a year old

Hi, I am trying to hire a car for a week, to pick up at Pisa Airport. Unforuntately my license is not quite a year old yet (I am 31 though), and all the large rental companies cannot offer me anything.

Does anyone know of any smaller local companies who may be able to help, or should there be something available at the airport do you think?.

Thanks!.

I think you will struggle on that one. I know when we were looking for a car hire company for my daughter, the only company who would touch under 19's was europcar (with a huge excess I might add) but even they insisted on a minimum of 12 months licence.

Good luck

Jackie

Thanks, I think I may actually try the Auto Rail route, it would probaly work out around the same cost of hiring a car - even if I did find someone who would!.
