Does anybody know how long the strike is for. My fella has a flight from Naples on Monday evening to London.
Thanks, and hope it didnt mess up anybody elses journey plans.

Don't worry, the strike reported in the link was last year - in November.

For six years I regularly commuted between southern England and Italy (various airports). Despite there being a strike on some occasions, I always got to where I wanted to be, eventually, as not every train/bus company was involved. So once you arrive in Italy there is always a solution. My most memorable moment was being interviewed at a nearly empty Termini stazione, by a radio journalist, who, once he had switched off his equipment, said in English Signora...welcome to the third world... !
