seems the airline knows no bounds in how to make money!
People would be far better off booking with BA...
after all the taxes and card fees etc are added into a Ryanair flight, its about the same as BA anyway.
BA are just honest about their tariff from the moment you start your search...

But if you live in the north of England you don't have a lot of choice - BA fly to very few destinations from airports other than Heathrow.

I suppose thats fair enough, I think BA have quite a few routes however. Easyjet also, no? I havent dont any research, but I always think there is more than one way to skin a cat...do we really rely on Ryanair that much?

Easyjet do Naples from Liverpool (no use for Le Marche really), Jet2 do Rome from Manchester but are really expensive (and they charge for bags). Ryanair at least do Rome and BA well they do B All ( a couple of code shares from Manchester to N America, Germany and Scandanavia, and I think they do Milan (again no use really) otherwise everything is via Heathrow and Gatwick). If we are going for more than a couple of weeks we drive as it is cheaper (for four of us in school holidays) and we can take more stuff. But to answer your question yes we really do depend on Ryanair.

Default Ba

Chris, its a sad day when we depend on Ryanair! I hate their customer service policy and will always pay some more to be at least treated correctly.
It is possible to take internal connecting flights with BA to LHR/LGW to meet the main outbound flight, but adds to the cost and time factor.
I prob have to agree with you then and just be happy I'm an hour from both Gatwick and heathrow...

Interesting (very slow to load), clip thanks. But may I suggest it is relocated to the Ryanair Group, otherwise why have such a group at all?
