Default Does anyone know about Ferries?

Ciao, my name is Linda and I am a new user to this forum. I was wondering if anyone could help me with a question I have about the Ferries that go from Naples to Palermo.I have tried the web pages for the ferry companies but find them hard to understand. What I would like to know is, How much does it cost to take the ferry from Naples to Palermo, and return, as just a single passenger on foot, no car.

If anyone could help me that would be terrific.

Grazie,
Linda

Snav ? high speed ships to Palermo, Palermo ferries, Sicily ferries

That is the link to SNAV, in English, and you will see they are quoting €20 per passenger each way. However, to find out what your trip will cost (depends on time of year, day of week, whether you want a cabin etc etc) you should go through the booking system on the SNAV site to find out. (You can always not buy, but you'll know exactly what the offer is. (It will cost you more than the headline fare, I promise you!)

Actually, just done the booking scenario, and for June - travelling on Tuesdays, the return 'deck' passenger fare is €57 - so not so bad. In June (maybe also in May) there are daily sailings, whereas 'off season' you are limited to weekends which are more expensive and maybe they also insist on you having a chair at the very least. It's a long crossing though, 12 hours, so maybe it is a good idea.
