We are driving around Italy this summer and will be in Puglia for 4 nights. We have booked a hotel in Conversano and would appreciate some info with respect to whether this is a good base to visit Trullis, Ostuni etc and also decent bars/restaurants for the evenings.
Looking forward to the usual useful advice. Helens |

hi helens conversano is fine base for visiting all the area has to offer, including a very historic centre of its own, you are not too far away from the grottos at castalanetta, and not too far away from the sea, ostuni is approx 30 mins by car.
Cuboimages - San Benedetto monastery, Conversano, Puglia, Italy hope you have a great time, as a matter of interest wher are you staying a friend has an agriturismo in conversano Agriturismo Montepaolo - Conversano Puglia |

Thanks Marco
We're staying in the middle of Conversano at the Corte Altavilla. Just a bit concerned about parking - we're driving our own car from the UK. had a look at the agriturismo website. It looks very nice. May have to have a rethink. |
