Smile Fiumicini to Terni

Does anyone know if you can get the train at Fiumicino Airport straight to Terni please. We are stopping over at Terni on our way to Rieti. Grazie

I think you have to go into Rome's main station and change.

To save time at Rome Termini station, buy 2 tickets at Fumicino station - one to Rome Termini, and a second from Rome Termini to Terni [don't think you can get a through ticket]. Plenty of trains go to Terni

For info, try

I got last December one ticket from Fiumicino to Narni-Scalo which is just before Terni, had to change at Roma-Tiburtina but that was easy. Bought the ticket at
the train station in Fiumicino airport. (Note: the train didn't pass Termini at all).

You could also take a look at www.trenitalia.it (also in english)

No problem; actually I think it was two different tickets which were given at the same time in Fiumicino, then a simple change at Tiburtina by looking for the correct binario.

By the way found Terni city center to be surprisingly full of all kind of shopping possibilities.

Have a nice journey!

Paul
