Default European Airlines To/From/Within Italy

With the demise of some Ryanair routes recently and still more to come sadly it seems, here's a list of airlines I've compiled over the last year as possible alternatives departure/arrival pointsor/stop overs.

Note the number of "budget"/"low cost" Italian airlines!!! (France doesn't have any, well that I know of alas)

The last three are useful links too.

Thanks Sally, very comprehensive list!

I found the last one, skyscanner, to be great for looking at multiple flight options as it can string together the ryanair and other airlines that do not themselves offer connecting flight details.. still have to check the latest prices but very good for working out options

The much quoted WhichBudget.com allows you to search by airport (destination or arrive point) and is very useful.

Liverpool - Ancona, Shannon-Rome. Marseille-Rome, Franfurt Hahn - Marseile that I know of.

Just wish in their route news on their web site they announced route suspensions or cloosures. Common decency.
