Default The Joy Formidable

For anyone in and around Firenze- try getting down to La Limonia club on Sunday April 5th for a fantastic London based Indie band The Joy Formidable- they've just released their first album and its superb- it'll be a rare chance to catch them before they break the big time. Love 'em.

Sadly can't come down to see them, but know they would be great live. Thanks Damiano.

Is La Limonia a regular music venue - might venture down one day. Last band I saw was in Camden Town a year ago (nephew was the drummer, now left to get a life) maybe you'll like them KOLO on MySpace Music - Free Streaming MP3s, Pictures & Music Downloads I remember feeling very young and very old at the same time

Top sounds- when are we gonna sort out an Italian indie festival- every other hicksville in Europe has one they can call their own and we have a goat farmer and a mandolin (actually thats a decent name for a band "Goat farmer and the mandolins")

Sign me up for that too.

I know lots of bands who'd love to come out and play a festival. All kinds of genres.

If we're swapping Myspace links, this is the band I played bass in until I decided to move to Italy: The Greeters on MySpace Music - Free Streaming MP3s, Pictures & Music Downloads
