Tuscany Tuscany is the most well known Italian region world wide, famous for its art, history and evocative landscapes. Strategically placed in the centre of Italy, it stretches over the slope of the Apennines and reaches the Tyrrhenian Sea.

Default Lunigiana - new 15 minute tourist info video

Whilst googling I have just seen this (new I think) video made for the Consorzio Lunigiana Turistica. Despite an irritating production style and music to pull your hair out to, it does show off the region pretty well and should help give happy reminders to anyone who is missing the place and a decent insight as to what is on offer here to those who don't know it yet. Now get ready for that music!

Thank you. Interesting!! I didn't mind the music so much but the commentary!! I won't comment on the accent as mine is very strong too (maybe more French though, i don't know which one is worse!!)

I could manage the music but not the distorted camera lense. It was like looking through some old glass windows. Or perhaps I need a new monitor

Default Tuscany Italy-The Charmed Land

Sorry I had to abandon it. Far too painful!!! The voice, music and I found the hooded character sinister and slightly reminiscent of "Death In Venice"

However although I had doubts initially about this one, given the first image, it's a nice little movie and the music is wonderful. Does anyone know what it is???

The music I think is by Puccini, possibly Manon Lescaut .

Do you really mean 'Death in Venice'? or could you be thinking of 'Don't look now'?

The music is "Nessun Dorma" from Turandot, the singer is Pavarotti (one of his signature arias).

If we are talking about the Tuscany video, I agree that it is Pavarotti singing and I would also bet that it is Puccini, but, definitely, it is not "Nessun Dorma" from Turandot. Any other ideas? It talks about a shepperd.

The first aria is Lamento di Federico from L'Arlesiana by Francesco Cilea, sung by Andrea Bocelli and the second is Pavarotti. The information is within the comments for the video.
