Wedding in Tropea, Calabria

We are getting married next June, hopefully in Tropea, Calabria. Trying to gather as much information as possible for paperwork (we're borth UK citizens and neither are Catholic), ideas and venues for ceremony and reception. We are looking to bring 30 guests, has anyone been married here or do you have any advice?
