ILM: Italian courses in TUSCANY

Since 1981 we have offered students from all over the world the opportunity to learn Italian in one of the most beautiful parts of Tuscany. As sites for our schools we chose two smaller, safer towns, Pisa and Viareggio, which enable more contact with Italians.

Pisa is an university town, famous for its Leaning Tower, it is distinguished by the youth of its population and its proximity to the sea. The town is also well connected, especially to Great Britain and Ireland, by numerous low cost flights per day.

Viareggio is considered one of the most prestigious and attractive sea-side resorts in Italy and it offers a host of different kinds of entertainment.

During lessons our teachers guide our students in learning the Italian language using an integrated method that facilities the development of communicative abilities without neglecting the study of grammatical structures.

Many courses are offered: General course, Intensive courses, Grammar course, One to one tutoring and Combined courses. During the afternoon it also possible to attend special courses as Wine Tasting, Paintig, History of Art and Italian Cooking or to enjoy the large activities program: guided visits to Miracle Square and Leaning Tower, to Lucca, to Florence, to Siena, to Cinque Terre which enable our students to have experience of the Italian History, Art and style of life.

At our school the environment is relaxed and familiar thanks to a friendly staff and students can enjoy socializing with people of all over the world. After the lessons, thanks to the size of our destinations, our students can easily get in touch with the true Italians and get to know their customs and way of life.
