The School

Scuola Tricolore is an Italian language school located right in the city centre of Genoa, which is a captivating, unspoilt city with a truly Italian flavour, so an Italian course in Genoa is a perfect way to learn the language! Learn Italian in Genoa and spend days wandering back in time through the medieval streets of the city. Students do not come to Italy only to study Italian and learn about Italian culture, but they also come to relax, mingle, eat, drink and laugh. Thus, Scuola Tricolore is about studying Italian with lots of fun and interaction.

Location

The School is located right in the city centre, in the University area. A very central location; just a few steps to the boulevard, shops, bars, etc. The school has 5 brand new classes and a separate relax room for the students where free internet is always available, wireless internet and where you can take a coffee, read a newspaper, borrow a book from our large library or talk to your fellow students. The atmosphere of the school is open, friendly and familiar. The philosophy has always been to create a study centre surrounded by pleasure and fun. Thus, our method of
teaching, as the teachers' selection, is to emphasise and support this philosophy. You will be positively surprised!

Courses

There are 6 different levels and there are several course types. Scuola Tricolore offers a standard group course of 20 hours a week, a 30 hours a week group course, standard group course + cooking, a standard group course + conversation, individual courses of 2 or 4 hours a day, 3 or 5 days a week and mixed courses; consisting of group classes supplemented with individual hours, ranging from 4 hours up to 10 hours a week. The duration of the courses is available from one week up to a year and for there are special discounted prices for long-term courses. The maximum class size is 8 students, to guarantee the quality in terms of personal attention. All classes start every other Monday.

Miscellaneous

Besides the different courses, we organize recurring and several cultural, sportive and fun activities. Some of them for free, others at a small fee. Among our activities you could expect cooking courses, dinners, city walks, free seminars, watching Italian movies, sailing trips in the weekend and wine tasting. We like to be your guide in discovering Italy, its people, its habits and culture and we will do the utmost to make your stay an experience never to forget!
