Italiaidea is one of Italy’s most outstanding Italian language schools officially authorized by the Italian Ministry of Education. It is located in the heart of Rome near the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain, and the Capitol Hill.

In addition to lively and engaging language and culture courses, Italiaidea offers students an intimate study envronment as well as a high degree of professionalism and flexibility.
The curriculum we offer is enriched with extra-curricular activities, a housing service, secretarial support, field trips, and social events ranging from discussion groups to outings to the cinema, museum visits, and concerts.
Housing can be reserved for the duration of your participation in a course (from the Sunday before the course begins up until the saturday after the course ends). Double and single rooms are available in apartments with other students or with Italian in their homes, with the use of the kitchen. We can also organize homestays for you if you want to practice your italian 24 hours a day.
On the first day of class at Italiaidea, you are introduced to our staff, our city, and your fellow students.
After a test to decide your language level, an orientation in Italian and in English is held to welcome and introduce new students.
In the afternoon, beginner students will have their first class of pronunciation and can then participate, with all the others, in the “Giro Sotto casa” (a tour of the school’s immediate neighborhood) to get both practical and art historical information.
If you prefer you can also plan a Full Immersion Course or individual lessons to address your specific language and scheduling needs.
