An Italian teenager skipped school and won 10,000 euros with a lotto scratch card Friday.

He was so pleased he phoned home to tell his Dad, forgetting he should have been in class.

But the parent was equally thrilled and ''just started shouting down the phone with joy,'' the card vendor told reporters.
