Italy has made the world's top ten for spending on primary schools, the Save The Children organisation reported Tuesday.

Luxembourg came top with $12,418 a year per child followed by Switzerland with $10,534.

African countries like Burundi ($17) took most of the lowest positions but last place went to Laos with $12.
