Legendary guitarist Carlos Santana is on an international tour with his band. This date is at the Arena di Verona.

Carlos Santana's career was revitalised by the enormous success of his 2000 album, Supernatural, which paired him with a host of contemporary artists. The sequel, Shaman (2002) and All That I Am (2005) followed the same blueprint, featuring collaborations with performers ranging from Seal and Dido to Steve Tyler and Mary J Blige.

The Santana Blues Band got their big break in 1969 when they played an incredible set at the Woodstock Festival, kick-starting a record company scramble to sign them. The band's eponymous debut album was a vibrant showcase of their Latin rhythms and psychedelic blues guitar and was hugely successful, helped by the hit singles Jingo and Evil Ways.

Subsequent albums like Abraxas also sold in vast quantities and spawned hits including Tito Puente's Oye Como Va and Peter Green's Black Magic Woman. The impact of that fantastic early material has made the band's influence permanent.
