Rome is recruiting a fleet of "tourist angels" to help the millions of tourist going through the Eternal City every year.
The city's tourism chief Mauro Cutrufo announced that a 60-strong team of angels on electric chariots is being formed.
They will speed to visitors' rescue when they look in trouble or simply at a loss where to turn next, said Cutrufo, who is also Rome's deputy mayor.
The team of red-jerseyed charioteers will begin work in November.
''This way tourists won't have to go to information offices. They'll be reached wherever they are, whatever they're interested in,'' Cutrufo told reporters.

WHat a great idea!
Let's hope the funding doesn't get cut or some other problem doesn't prevent this from beginning this year! Will be a far cry from the gladiators seen in the photo above...have you ever seen how nasty they get when someone tries to snap their picture without paying(is it 5 Euro per photo now)?!
