3-5 February. St Agatha is the patron saint of Catania and every year from 3rd to 5th of February the bust of the saint, containing the holy relics, is borne through the streets in solemn procession. Colourful processions, shows, local handicrafts and typical Sicilian food and wine also feature in the celebrations.
