The unusual octagonal Castle, which is visible from all around the parcel of land and the buildings, was built around 1240-1250 by an unknown architect. This land is situated just 15 km from the Adriatic coast at Trani, with Barletta & Bari close by and Brindisi just 80km, so road and air access is very easy.
