The village of Cetona, with its well-preserved ,peaceful old-quarter and stunning surrounding countryside, is a highly sought after location by artists and writers. The cities of Florence, Siena, Arezzo, Cortona and Orvieto are all easily reached with the A1 motorway just a short distance away .Other Tuscan gems such as Montepulciano, Pienza and Montalcino are all within a 35 km radius. The area is particularly well – known for its luxury spa resorts , the nearest being San Casciano, Bagno Vignoni and San Filippo.
