About the location and the house - Set in a tranquil and pristine countryside environment, this house at San Martino dei Monti is located on a hill overlooking a breathtaking landscape. San Martino is a rural location situated just 8 km south-west of the nearest main town of Sassocorvaro (PU), so about 5-10 minutes drive. Here you will find all the main facilities; shops, bars and public transport (bus). The town of Sassocorvaro is a small municipality in the province of Pesaro and Urbino, it lies about 80 km west of Ancona and about 35 km south-west of Pesaro. There are airports close by; Ancona which has direct flights from the UK with Ryan Air is about 1 hour drive, also Rimini airport has charter and domestic flights, and Forli which has domestic flights.

The larger town of Urbino is 22 km. The closest beaches are found in the area of Pesaro, on the Adriatic some 40 km. The resorts of Rimini and Cattolica are about 50km distance. The main Adriatic motorway A14 is a drive of about 40 km distance. The nearest main railway station is at Pesaro. For golf lovers, the nearest 18 hole course is at San Giovanni, Marignano, near Rimini about 1 hour drive, there is a further course in the Rimini area and also one at Ancona. For skiers and winter sports the nearest resort is Carpegna which is just a 20 minute drive.
