The property is just 1 km far from the town of Ferentillo, an ancient medieval hamlet 260 metres above the sea, 17 km far from Terni, in the most beautiful part of the Valnerina, where the Nera river descends through the gorge of the "Suppegna Valley." There are numerous monuments and interesting places. The Precetto and Mattarella castles are characterized by noble palaces, churches and narrow streets. Inside the XV century church of S. Stefano there is a mummies museum. The S. Pietro Abbey in Valle, from the VIII century, has extremely valuable frescos' from the XI and XII centuries. One could choose from a multitude of outdoors activities; Precetto di Ferentillo has a beautiful natural cliff, internationally renowned, which is perfect for climbing enthusiasts. In the waters of the Nera River it is possible to do rafting, canoeing in addition to recreational and sport fishing. Numerous nature trails are suitable for long walks, horseback riding and mountain biking. The Marmore Falls are just 10 minutes away, close to the beautiful Piediluco Lake.
