The building was renovated in the mid '90s. Externally it has been preserved the original stone façade. Inside there have been preserved some vaulting ceilings while others have been redone in brick and plastered cement or with wooden beams and terracotta tiles. The roof has been completely rebuilt, insulated and waterproofed. Great attention was given to the reinforcement of the structures in compliance with earthquake standards of the area. All floors are in handmade terracotta or from the original recovery bricks. The windows are all with double glazed windows and wooden doors.
