This large three storey house is situated up a narrow lane on the outskirts of the town of Bocale on the west coast of Calabaria facing Sicily. It is set in its own grounds and has a 500 sqm garden. Each floor of the house is 145 sqm and has large airy rooms with balconies and views to Sicily and Etna.
The ground floor has a kitchen, lounge, two bedrooms and a bathroom and could be used as a granny flat or separate apartment. The first floor has a kitchen, a large lounge (with wood-burning fireplace), three bedrooms and two bathrooms. There is a large covered terrace on the first floor which is ideal for relaxing on or eating al fresco in the summer months. The second (top) floor also has a large lounge with a bedroom and a bathroom. The large roof-top terrace is accessed via the lounge. From the windows, it is possible to see Sicily.
All rooms have heating and are light and well-ventilated. All floors are tiled. There is an air conditioning unit in the main bedroom on the first floor. Windows have mosquito netting and shutters. Each floor has an intercom to the front door and the security gates.
On the ground floor, there is a garage with an adjoining utility room and storage area where the reserve water supply is housed with plenty of room for wine and olive oil. These can be accessed from inside the house. Outside, there is a car port and an area which can be covered to make a shady patio.
