This historic Tuscan country house is located on the Cetona mountain slopes. To the East it faces the Val di Chiana and the border with Umbria. In 2005 the town of Cetona received the "Orange flag" award as one of the 100 most beautiful Italian hamlets. It is situated on the slopes of Mount Cetona (1184m) and is a fascinating medieval town, with a fortress, ancient houses and country houses. The hamlet is surrounded by the spectacular greenery of the area, consisting of cypress trees, pines, olive trees and vineyards, with views over the Val di Chiana. To the east it is possible to see Città della Pieve, birthplace of Perugino. Also nearby there are Montepulciano, Arezzo, Cortona and the Trasimeno Lake. The environment and landscape here are still untouched. In fact it is possible to see porcupines, hares, pheasants, wild boars and, if one's lucky, even deer. This is one of the most beautiful areas of Tuscany. The Cetona hamlet is a medieval centre sought after by tourists and artists from all over the world for its peace and the beauty of its landscapes. The estate is situated about 7 km from the centre of the town in a private location dominating the beautiful valley and it is easily reachable from the nearby Chiusi Chianciano and Fabro motorway exits. Historical cities such as Florence, Siena, Arezzo, Montepulciano, Orvieto and Chianciano are not far, as well as several spas such as San Casciano, San Filippo and Bagno Vignoni, which make the stay even more enjoyable.
