The hamlet is surrounded by the spectacular greenery of the area, consisting of cypress trees, pines, olive trees and vineyards, with views over the Val di Chiana. To the east it is possible to see Città della Pieve, birthplace of Perugino. Also nearby there are Montepulciano, Arezzo, Cortona and the Trasimeno Lake. The environment and landscape here are still untouched. In fact it is possible to see porcupines, hares, pheasants, wild boars and, if one's lucky, even deer.
