Isca Marina is one of the most popular and beautiful locations on the Ionian Sea coast of Calabria, many wealthy Calabrese own homes here. The small select development of Isca Dreams was completed just last year (2008) and is sold out with all the properties fully occupied, many are holiday homes but quite a few owners are permanent year round residents. The village centre is just a few minutes walk from the development and here you will find a baker, supermarket, bars and a Pizzeria. Just a 10-15 minutes drive or bus ride you have the larger well known resort of Soverato, which offers wonderful views across the Gulfo de Squillace. Here you find a multitude of bars, restaurants, shops, supermarkets, medical and all the other facilities you could need. Soverato also has a lively nightlife in the summer months. Closer by to Isca marina and just a few minutes drive is the smaller town of San Andrea which has shops, bars and restaurants and many of the everyday facilities you could need.

Although Isca Marina is mainly residential, with many private villas, there is a year round community here and in the summer it is visited by tourists, but the beach rarely get over crowded as it stretches for miles in either direction, so plenty of space for everyone. Within walking distance is the local community heated indoor swimming pool, close to the site are a couple of beach bars and restaurants including one brand new one built only in 2008. A brand new lungomare (promenade) and a marina are planned for the area.
