Entrance to the house is from the street on the ground floor. The ground floor comprises a 'Rustico': a kitchen/family room with the kitchen area with worktops and sink in Travertine stone.There is also a fireplace, with a travertine hearth which as well as adding a focal point to the room can be used for authentic Tuscan 'alla bracce' (grill over an wood fire) cooking. Ceilings are beamed and floors and celing linings are in characterful handmade terracotta half bricks.
Also on the ground floor is a bathroom with a wetroom shower and a small storeroom for the washing machine, freezer etc.

On the first floor is a spacious double aspect sitting room with heavily beamed ceiling and warm coloured handmade terracotta floors. Special features of the room are the spectacular iron and chestnut staircase, not a traditional feature but one that illuminates and enhances the beauty of the floors and ceilings and the eyecatching altar like travertine fireplace.This floor has another bathroom with walls finished in lustrous polished marble plaster(stucco veneziano) and also enjoys one of our tactile made to measure travertine basins.

On the second floor are three bedrooms and a further bathroom.The bedrooms and upper hallway all enjoy the same chestnut beamed ceilings and handmade terracotta floor tiles and the front two bedrooms have views out over the landmarks of Montalcino.The bathroom on this floor is finished with pale polished marble plastered walls and pale cream travertine flooring creating a serene luminous space.
