The main entrance door is under the pergola and leads into the main living room. The room has a domed ceiling and a flight of stairs, opposite to the main door, and pointing in the opposite direction, that takes you down to a cantina cellar, which is perfect for storing wine. The kitchen is to the left of this area and also includes a couple of windows and french doors. It is large enough to accommodate a table for 8 and includes all mod-cons. The domed area leads into another living area which has a series of windows over the valley and is very luminous. Access to the independent flat is to the left of this area, and is hidden by a wood cabinet. To the right, stairs lead up to the first floor. The pietra serena (grey stone) stairway is flanked by a series of large rectangular windows that make them very luminous and can be opened in summer to provide extra breeze. On the first floor, the landing, which boast another charming old wood burner branches off onto 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It does not have air conditioning but could easily be fitted if necessary. All properties have central heating. The main house and adjacent cottage also have air conditioning.
