Isolani Meeting

The buildings managed by Isolani Meeting still belong to the Cavazza Isolani family, one of the most ancient families of Bologna, coming from Cyprus, established themselves in Bologna in the XIII century.

PALAZZO ISOLANI,located in the heart of Bologna, close to the "2 Torri", is the perfect place to host meetings, parties and gala dinners in its sumptuous lounges decorated with gorgeous frescoes.
Palazzo Isolani, in Piazza Santo Stefano n.16, is surrounded by marvellous buildings and by the millenary Basilica (X-XIII century), this square is one of the most charming places in Italy.
The Palace, inherited by the Isolani family in 1671, consists of the original XVI century courtyard, the famous helicoidal staircase by Vignola and the frescoed lounges.
It may host dinners for up to 400 seated guests and it can also be used in separated parts.
The 250 mq. restored cellars offer further possibilities.

Villa Isolani was built after the arrival to Bologna in 1805 of Napoleon Bonaparte.
Count Tattini, the Commander of the National Guard, was entrusted the properties of the area. He ordered the restoration of the Villa and a new project for its park that was turned in an exquisite example of Romantic Park extending on about seven and a half hectares.
The neo classic Villa includes 6 lounges with Pompei-style frescoes that accommodate up to 200 guests, and an external marquee that may host 300 more guests.
Villa Isolani can be reached in few minutes from the city centre and from the A14 Motorway.

Rocca Isolani was built in the XIV century, partially burned down and then rebuilt as a country mansion in the XVI century.
The polychrome terracotta friezes (XV century) are a vestige of the Renaissance court while the frescoes decorating three lounges of the building were painted by Aspertini. At the back of the building rises the very elegant dovecote (1536 ) designed by Vignola, with an helicoidal shape.
The Rocca and the XVI century Villa at its side hosted Charles V on occasion of his crowning in 1530.
Besides its lounges, that may host 20 to 120 guests, the Rocca, surrounded by impressive trees and by the large "Prato delle Fiere", has a renaissance courtyard 450 mq large with wide porches and it is a very evocative framework for events in the spring-summer period.
Rocca Isolani is located just a few minutes away from the city centre.
