Venice Events is a registered company and authorised agency based in Venice, Italy, founded in 1995 – with head office close to St Mark’s Square. Two of the owners are originally from the UK – Lindsey Coleman is the founder of the company and has over fifteen years experience in organising weddings and events. Jayne Seddon has a background of working for UK tour operators and organising many sorts of events.

Both Lindsey and Jayne are committed to the idea of giving couples getting married in Italy a distinctive and memorable experience of this country. With a combined experience of over 30 years in various sectors of the travel industry, both of them work with enthusiasm and passion that they have of the Italian country and culture and doing everything they possibly can to ensure your day or event runs smoothly.

If you are planning a wedding in Italy, then it is so important to have someone you can communicate with, who understands your worries and concerns, who can advise you with their own experience of many weddings and situation. A huge part of organising a wedding is the documentation, which can be complicated particularly dealing with town halls and consulates. Our services include assisting you with all the documentation in Italy, liaising with the church authorities, local suppliers and booking services. Many of our couples say to us ‘it was one of the best decisions for our wedding, in booking co-ordinator and planning services – it gave us such peace of mind in the build up to our wedding day’.

Venice Events organise civil & religious weddings, renewal of vows, blessings, symbolic ceremonies, and proposals of marriage. Although based in Venice, we have a team of local co-ordinators in regions of Italy such as Verona, Lake Garda, Lake Como, Rome, Amalfi coast, Tuscany and Umbria, Sorrento and Sicily. We pay the same attention to a simple ceremony for two, which is just as important as a large grand affair for hundreds.

We offer wedding packages, or you can have a tailor-made proposal to suit your requirements. You can book as many or as few services through us that you need, or you can just book a co-ordinator on the day of your event.

As we are also a travel agent, you have the security of booking through a company that is fully licensed with full insurance for civil liability. Venice Events are members of ASTA (American Society of Travel Agents), AFWPI (Association of Wedding Professionals), and Associate members of ABTOI.
